It’s my day! *bites nails* It’s a long story, and I have to leave for work in 45 min., so I’m not going to get it all up this morning. With luck, I’ll have most of it up before midnight, but can’t swear to it. I won’t be be home much at all today until well after 9:00 p.m. If I don’t get it all up (a distinct possibility since I haven’t finished the ending) I’ll link to it on my LJ/DW accounts. I’d do chapters at a time, but I don’t do short chapters and that might be a little too much for many readers.

Summary: Continues from two Schmoop Bingo ficlets (I’ll provide links as soon as I have time) in which a drunk Spike comes to Buffy after Dru has kicked him out again. He thinks he wants to fight her, but ends up realizing that’s not what he wants at all… In this fic, they find that their situation may not be all that unique. The question is, can an unchipped, unsouled formerly evil vampire contain his demon well enough to suit the Chosen One? Can they make it work?
I had originally intended to have a fic ready to post… but, alas, I do not. I’ve been a little busy lately–I hope to have the fic ready by the open-posting day. But! For now, as an alternative offering, I present you lovely people with this fanmix/picspam.
This was the first fanmix I’ve ever done–and it was so fun to make, you guys. It ran a little long because I couldn’t stop adding songs. So, it may not all fit on an audio CD, but it would certainly fit if you burn it in mp3 format. Also, warning: vulgar language, sexy language, some loud and much awesome music.
I just wanna give a special shout out to angearia and eilowyn for the inspiration to put this together!
And here it is! Your third part for today! As I said, I will be posting the chapters on my own journal after this, but I will put a link at the bottom of this post leading to the fourth chapter and from that chapter to the next and so on. Hello all! My first Seasonal Spuffy evah!!
This is a fic in 10 parts (possibly 11. I’m working on 10 now, you see. Sorry, I failed to finish for the deadline!) I’ll post the first three chapters today, as I think they make a nice little thing together, and then I’ll follow up on my journal? Is that good, or should I wait until “open posting” day?
Warning: Fluffy! People who like my writing might not believe this, so I have to emphasise that this story is strong with the fluff side of the force.
Summary: After getting caught with Anya in the Magic Box, Spike tries a different drastic tactic to make it all better: he proposes.
I owe much love to my beta snickfic, who held my hand through the strange world of fluff, and the occasional drama-queen explosion of writer’s block.

Beta/Hand-holding: Humongous thank yous to angearia , snickfic and ladyofthelog for cheering me through the writing process, coaching me through my blocks, and offering advice throughout. Emmie, especially, gave me a crash course in writing action sequences and laughed at me while I watched Dancing with the Stars for “research”. She is also half-responsible for this cracktastic verse and some of the funnier lines here.
Hi fandom, wow! still you are the better thing inside, how you make this! I’m so glad, nobody loves how you do, you have the heart so strong to go where no one else can, you’re in fire all the time, strange and wonderful vibrant people, you are the best example for this theme. And it’s the best time ever, I can take one episode like that and laugh so loudly when I walk in drama at the same time. Do you enjoy better now? with the passage of time?
