Well, today is my day to post and I have a small fic offering. I’m posting this unbeta’d so I don’t miss my date but will replace it with the prettied up version once my spectacular and perfect Beta does her magic (since she is trying to get her own story completion ready to post I didn’t want to add to her stress). I believe it to be readable at this point so you shouldn’t have to cringe but Mary makes it just perfect and that’s how I’ll want the final version to be.
Thank you to the mods who keep this site alive and to all who contribute to our little fandom treasure trove. I’m excited that I get to start reading and enjoying now that mine is done!

Summary: Loving Buffy is never a stable environment as Spike has learned since her return from heaven. All he’s done is to try to help and all it’s achieved is to make things worse. So what might actually help this broken Slayer?
Setting: S6 all canon through “Dead Things” then it goes AU to varying degrees after Chapter 1.

Whoops! Just squeaking in under the wire. Here’s a little “quickie” ficlet to take the place of the one I didn’t quite finish. It’s really rough, but my laptop is overheating again, so even though I had set aside the entire weekend for writing, I’ve had to do it in short, spaced-out spurts.
The other two stories are almost done, but they’ll have to wait until the free-for-all day. I’ll also polish this one up and post it to my LJ at a later date.

I’m overwhelmed. Or possibly just tired. It is just after 3 am here. But I’ve stayed up late in order to post the first chapter of what is promising to be another epic length KnifeEdge fic. There’s something about writing Spuffy that makes me think epically huge. I’ll have a few more chapters for you throughout the day, today. At least four. Five if I get lucky.

fanmix: you are what you love
I’ve made a number of fanmixes in the past, and when I do, I usually strive to make the perfect soundtrack-narrative for others – it’s rarely the music that works best for me in my own head. I’m not sure how well this mix will translate from my head to yours, but these are the songs I keep in regular rotation that are my Spuffy soundtrack, and I hope you enjoy them! This selection is pretty heavily season 6 flavored, which is unsurprising as it’s one of my favorite seasons for Spuffy. ;)

Whew. This is coming in just under the wire. For those of you that haven’t heard of me, I posted a little story some time ago. It’s titled Origins and can be found on a few of the archive sites. This is a future pic, set in that ‘verse, so some knowledge of the happenings will be necessary. There’s only a brief Spike/Buffy scene in this, but their relationship is the thread that binds all this together, so hopefully it’ll fit the criteria. If not, the mods can remove it. I won’t be insulted.
