Fic: For Keeps – Chapter 1

Title: For Keeps

Summary: When unknown demons attack Spike in autumn 2019 and infect him with what seems to be a parasite, all Slayer and Watcher hands are on deck to try to get it out of him.  But what if the “parasite” could be something more?
A/N 1: This is, as you may be able to tell from the summary, an mpreg fic.  Spike gets pregnant.  If the concept of male pregnancy freaks you out, this is probably not the fic for you.
A/N 2: This is a WIP.  I expect it to be a good-sized novella when all is well and done.  Sadly, I am quite far from being well and done, and all I have at the moment is Chapter 1 and maybe Chapter 2 later in the week, if I can get my act together.  Writing (of any kind; not just this) has been like pulling teeth lately, but I am hopeful that this story at least will take off once I get past the introductory, what-the-hell-is-inside-of-Spike chapters.  In any case, this is my first time posting a WIP (in BtVS fandom at least), and my apologies if updates take a while.  Please feel free to friend me if mpreg is your cup of tea and you’d like to keep up with the fic.
A/N 3: So not only is this a WIP, this is a WIP that takes place far in the future in my post-NFA verse, which I not at all ironically call the HEA-verse.  In this verse Anya and Cordelia were resurrected by the PTB after NFA, the Scoobies moved back to the newly rebuilt (but no longer a Hellmouth) Sunnydale in mid-2005, and they all had children a few years later.  The pairings are Buffy/Spike, Xander/Anya, Willow/Oz, Cordelia/Angel, and Dawn/Gunn.  A list of fics in this verse is on my fic masterlist if you’re interested, but below the cut is a brief description of original characters and other relevant information that will tell you all you need to know.

A/N: This fic is for lutamira , who requested “Anything Spuffy” four months ago when I was requesting prompts.  This was not my original SS fic (I’m posting it today because I only finished it a few days ago, so the timing seemed appropriate), and hopefully I’ll have the first chapter of my original SS fic, a WIP, up later today.  The link below takes you back to my LJ.

But is Buffy ready to face her inner demons and finally escape the clutches of the past? Ensemble cast.

Author’s Note: As promised here is the next chapter, complete with a lot more Spuffy! I had so much fun writing the Buffy/Spike scenes in this story and there is plenty more to come in further chapters. Hopefully I can get the third installment completed in time for the free-for-all day, but in the meantime if you’d like to keep following this story then please do feel free to friend me. Author’s Note: Hi guys! This is my humble offering for this round of seasonal_spuffy but also my first ever posted Buffy fanfic, so I’m pretty nervous but also very excited about finally getting to share it! As much as I loved the last season of Angel I was always disappointed that we never got a proper Buffy/Spike reunion, so I wrote this story like the (two part) television episode I always wanted to see. Thank you to my lovely betajoans_journal for all of her feedback and encouragement on this and to the mods for keeping this amazing community running. Out of the Blue

I’ll begin posting this rather lengthy fic this a.m. and try to finish it up this afternoon when I get home from work. And I’ll come back to fix the header as soon as I reread the guidelines and write them down so my lack of sort-term memory doesn’t cause me to mess them up.

Season Four – AU post SB
Rating: Strong R
Genre: Fic

Ridiculously long AN: Very retro, very par-for-the-course post Something Blue season 4 fic. The beginning premise is based on two almost throw-away scenes from that season – the one in Pangs in which Buffy cuffs Spike almost affectionately after she ties him up, and then trails her hand across his shoulder as she walks behind him. Can’t say I noticed either of them at the time, but once someone mentioned them I went back and looked and… yeah, different sort of Buffy. And then, at the end of SB, she is staring at Spike totally without animosity or disgust – more just contemplative (until he opens his mouth). I thought those little things gave me something to build on.

Then I threw in some hints of Spike appreciation on Xander’s part (cause that’s always fun), some bonding between Spike and Giles (cause I think they could have and should have been friendlier) some Buffy and Willow girl talk, building friendship and UST between Buffy and Spike…. and yeah. Like that. If you don’t like the way the story’s going, just wait a minute and it’ll change again. LOL

It goes off canon almost immediately, with Spike being more receptive to Giles’s suggestion that maybe he was meant to be chipped so that he could change his ways, and with him becoming more of a Scooby than in canon. But if you’re willing to go with those twists on season four canon, I think it works.
