Spuffy Extravaganza! the!SEQUEL: Fanmix (I Should Have Told You)

Title: I Should have Told You
Creator: Nvrbnkisst
Form: Fanmix

This is a short fanmix that I put together.
I’ve decided that the scene on the cover of this mix is my favorite Spuffy scene (this will eventually change as it always does)
The scene has the perfect mix of everything I think represents Spike and Buffy and the way they interact with each other. Fear, Vulnerability, Laughter. Even though it lacks a punch and or kiss.

I’m posting these by shortest vid to longest vid. Not in the order I created them. I felt I had to save the longer ones for the big finale :)

Fic: Fire in the Soul (2a/?)

This entry is part 2 of 6 in the series Fire in the Soul

Title: Fire in the Soul (2a/?)
Author: Rebcake
Rating: PG13, this chapter
Word count: 1140
Summary: A few years after Sunnydale’s spectacular demise, Buffy and her crew are getting on with their lives in San Francisco. A not entirely unwelcome blast from her past blows into town, but he’s brought more than the generally allowable amount of baggage with him.

A/N: This half-chapter takes place the morning after the events of Chapter 1. Alas, it’s just a couple of gals sitting around talking, but more plot is coming soon (tomorrow?) on my journal. I’ll link from the bottom of this chapter when it’s up.

Blame it on the Black Star 1/1

Hi guys! I’ve been enjoying all the awesome things that have come out of this community this month, and since it’s open posting day I thought I’d give it a shot. Thanks to the mods for keeping it up and running, and for providing an opportunity for lurkers like myself to contribute without having a slot!

Title: Blame it on the Black Star
Author/Creator: smellslikecorruption
Era/Season/Setting: Season 2-4
Rating: PG-13
Genre: Superstarverse (?)
Length: ~3500
Summary: How might have important events gone differently in a universe where Buffy wasn’t Sunnydale’s go-to superhero? Snapshots of the Spuffy relationship in the alternate history created by Jonathan’s spell.
Disclaimer: None of it belongs to me.

Home Is Where They Have To Take You In – Chapter Three

This entry is part 3 of 3 in the series Home Is Where They Have To Take You In

The header is a lie. But here’s a link to the next chapter of Home Is Where They Have To Take You In. From this chapter on, the rest of the fic will be posted on my journal (or at DW). This is the last chapter being posted tonight, but I may have time to do another one tomorrow.

Chapter Three

Fic: ‘Walking at Midday’ by Quinara (PG-13/R)

This is a piece of angsty/squishy/fluffy smoosh that I didn’t have ready for my day, but conveniently have ready now. In which Spike finds a different way of dealing with the trigger!

Author: Quinara
Rating: PG-13/R for, hmm, swearing and reasonably explicit discussion of sex and sexual violence. I’m thinking of it as something like a 15 over here. Teen?
Length: ~7500 words.
Setting: S7, just after Get It Done.
Warnings: Explicit discussion of canonical attempted rape, otherwise no others off the AO3 list.

Fic: DUST (7/?)

This entry is part 7 of 7 in the series Dust

As promised, I’m back with one more chapter to celebrate  seasonal_spuffy. If you want to continue following this fic, I’ll be updating it fairly regularly (couple of times a week at least) on my livejournal. Or you can find it at Elysian Fields or the Bloodshedverse).

Thanks so much to the mods for putting this together. It’s been a lot of fun, and I can’t wait for the next go round. :)

First there was Chapter 1 , Chapter 2 , Chapter 3 , Chapter 4 , Chapter 5 & Chapter 6

Title: DUST
Author: knifeedgefic
Era/Season: Season 4 (post “Harsh Light of Day” and “Fear, Itself” but before “Beer Bad”)
Rating: Mature/NC-17 (strong language, sexual situations, adult content)
Genre: other?
Betaed by: goblin_dae, yakimama, and subtilior

Summary: She’d kicked his butt, taken the Gem and sent it off to Angel. Buffy thought she’d seen the last of Spike. Clearly, she’d been too optimistic. That he was in her house, in her room, waking her out of a sound sleep and asking for (okay, demanding) her help meant that something had to be majorly wrong. They weren’t due for another apocalypse, but… why else would a vampire make a truce with the Slayer?

Disclaimer: Buffy the Vampire Slayer and all recognizable characters, locations, and dialogue belong to Joss Whedon, Mutant Enemy, and the various writers. This is written purely for fun.

Fic -Home Is Where They Have To Take You In Chapter Two

This entry is part 2 of 3 in the series Home Is Where They Have To Take You In

I think this is the last chapter I’m going to put up on the community. In the interest of not clogging things up on open posting day, I’ll provide a link to my journal and all the rest of the chapters will be up on there. Probably take me a while though – it’s a beautiful day and I want to work outside, and I need to clean house, so…

Fic -Home Is Where They Have To Take You In

This entry is part 1 of 3 in the series Home Is Where They Have To Take You In

Okay, it’s open posting day and I’m following rahirah – not my favorite thing to do. Try to avoid comparisons, okay? LOL

This is a future fic that totally ignores the comics, so no issues there (except for people who want to take the comics as canon for post show stuff, in which case, just think of it as an AU fic) I’m going to post the first couple of chapters here, then shift to a link to my journal. I’m six+ chapters in to what is probably going to be a fairly long story (just based on where it is right now). Oh the up side, the chapters are fairly long, so there won’t be as many of them as there could be if they were really short. Good for readers who want to get through the story quickly, not so good for those with short attention spans. *g* The fic was inspired by some art work that kudagirl put up some time ago. I asked her if I could use her picture for a fic and she said yes. This is the result.sult.

Title: Home Is Where They Have To Take You In
Author: Slaymesoftly
Rating: No idea right now. It’s barely PG ATM, but I suspect at some point it could get raunchier.
Summary: Buffy lives in London where she and Giles are running a Slayer/Watcher school. She has found an old house that used to belong to the Pratts and has used some “found” money to buy it and refurbish it to live in. A very weak and badly injured vampire, who claims to be harmless, hides in her garden and she, somewhat to her own surprise, doesn’t stake him right away.

Fic: In A Yellow Wood (Conclusion, pt 1)

This entry is part 5 of 6 in the series In A Yellow Wood

In A Yellow Wood
By Barb C.
Disclaimers: The usual. All belongs to Joss and Mutant Enemy, and naught to me.
Rating: PG-13
Synopsis: When Warren Meers traps Buffy in an alternate dimension on his first assignment for Wolfram & Hart, she’s faced with the consequences of dozens of choices she’s made. Even if she escapes, can she be certain that her life’s followed the right path?
Author’s notes: This story takes place in the same universe as “Raising In the Sun,” “Necessary Evils,” and “A Parliament of Monsters.” It takes place simultaneously with the story “The Lesser of Two Evils,” and contains spoilers for the series to date. Fic: In A Yellow Wood

This entry is part 4 of 6 in the series In A Yellow Wood

Hi All! Later today I will be posting at least one more installment of “In A Yellow Wood,” a story I started for Seasonal Spuffy many years ago. Depending on how quickly I can finish the revisions, I may be posting the entire rest of the story. If that doesn’t prove feasible, I’ll post part of it today and the rest on the free posting day and/or on my journal later. (I do have a complete first draft, so no matter what, it won’t be too much longer before I can post the whole thing.)

In the meantime, since it’s been such a very long time since I began this story, I’m posting a link to the first part, which was posted in several previous rounds of Seasonal Spuffy and is now collected at my website and at AO3.

Hope you enjoy.

Fic: that stream of consciousness you’re drowning in is called denile

Title: that stream of consciousness you’re drowning in is called denile
Author: Lirazel (penny_lane_42)
Medium: Fiction
Rating: PG
Spoilers: Through the end of Season 8
Summary: Welcome to the brain of Buffy Summers. Watch your step: things can get a bit hard to navigate, between the whitewater rapids of the River Denial and the deep canyons of Attempts at Introspection (and watch out for the quicksand of random fantasies that tend to pop out of nowhere—they’ll suck you in!). And your tour guide most likely won’t be of any help: most of the time, she’s not even sure what’s going on in here.

A/N: First off, this isn’t betaed, because I waited till the last moment again (I’m a horrible person). So I’ll probably keep tweaking it for a while, so don’t be surprised if you revist and something’s slightly different. And my apologies for the pretentiously meta title.

This fic is set post-S8, but I assure you that you don’t have to have read the comics to understand (or, hopefully, enjoy) it. It makes allusions to the broader plot points and themes of the comics, but I feel pretty comfortable saying that even if you don’t recognize Buffy from them, you’ll recognize her here. What I’m saying is, don’t let the comics association keep you from reading, okay?

Thanks, as always, to snickfic (for help with the ending) and angearia (for endless encouragement).
