Love In Steps – A Buffy/Spike Fanmix
Notes: Here’s my first contribution this round. This fanmix is a bit of a play on words; the fact that Buffy and Spike have a lot of key scenes on stairs and porch steps, as well as their ever evolving relationship from enemies to lovers and the steps they took to get there.
It’s my day, and I’m popping in to say that I’ll be back for Free-for-All Day on the 15th. I have a little Spuffy trifle in the works, but due to wild temperature fluctuations in the oven that is RL, it’s still, er, a trifle underbaked.
I’m squeezing every last minute out of my “day”. If only muses understood the concept of deadlines. :P

First a very well-deserved thank you to enigmaticblues for organizing this event. This is my first time posting here and I’m excited to participate. Ye gods, it felt like forever waiting for the opportunity to share some of these pieces. It was incredibly hard (TWSS = That’s what Spike said) as my first reaction is to post them right away. *is feedback whore*

Spuffy painting – acrilics and oil pastel
This post is a bit of a cheat, because, in a slightly different version, I have posted the bride magazine piece before at my journal. But, in all honesty, it’s among my personal favorites of the Spike/Buffy pieces I’ve done, and I wanted it to be part of this community. (I’m so bad like that – a real rebel. *snort*) And yeah, even though you can’t see him, Spike is all over this piece.
Strong Hearts is new and, like so many of my pieces, big. :-) Main texture by uglybusiness.
