Life has been hectic and I almost forgot my posting day. Here’s short ficlet before I toddle off to bed. I’ll (hopefully) post a slightly longer fic later this evening after I get home from work. Still need to finish up the last little bit.

Notes: The premise of this story is idea that a reunited Buffy and Spike end up falling into a relationship that’s remarkably similar to their S6 relationship, but not quite as unhealthy. The story takes place on two separate days, six months apart, but the events are cut together into one narrative. It’s pretty clear when the switches happen. Italics are used.

Happy Free-For-All Day!  I’ve posted the the second part of the Spike-miniseries-inspired fic I started on my day.  I’ll have the third and last part up sometime in the near future, definitely before #10.

I think what I’m posting today probably could stand on its own as a S6 AU, but I do follow up some stuff that happens in the previous fics, because it’s a sequel. The main thing is that Dead Things went differently and some stuff happened in LA. Other stuff happened around Buffy’s birthday. The chapter titles are of course from AYW!
Warnings: I don’t think this would need any of the AO3 listed warnings. I think the genre of this is much more of a drama-going-on-mystery-ish-adventure story, so it’s mostly in line with the show in terms of what it involves.

But is Buffy ready to face her inner demons and finally escape the clutches of the past? Ensemble cast.

Author’s Note: This chapter got quite long and also remains un-betaed, but I really wanted to get it finished and up in time for the free-for-all day for once! This chapter marks the halfway point of the story but also serves as the end of part one if this were a two part television episode, hence the evil evil cliffhanger :D For any new readers the first three chapters can be found here. Fic: Adventures in Parenting (1/1)

I’m back with the ficlet that I didn’t finish in time for my posting day. I thought I would be out of town and couldn’t post it on free-for-all day, but plans changed. Got a huge project at work that I’ve been living, breathing and not-sleeping over for the last three weeks. I’m finally done with it tomorrow (yay!) and plan to do nothing this holiday weekend but catch up on sleep and enjoy a marathon of Spuffy goodness.

Okay, so considering this is my third dialogue-only RandyBlade/Joan story, I think it’s officially safe to call it… a thing. Dare I even say… a series? So I want to give it a name, but I’m not sure what. Suggestions anyone?

This ficlet has some inside jokes/references to events in the previous two ficlets. If you haven’t read them and would like to first, here’s Mortgage Crisis and here’s Dear Randy.
Now I’m off to pull another all-nighter, so I most likely won’t respond to any comments until Saturday. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy!
