The Unwilling Hero
Behind the cut you’ll find the first two chapters of my SS fic. (on account of, that’s all I have so far) It began as a short fic for a trope bingo prompt but I just couldn’t go there, and it grew, so forget TB, it’s SS time. :) Set in season 4, not long after the spell, but before things get too heavy with Riley, Adam, et all. Really just all about the Spuffy and only enough plot to make it happen. :)

Notes: The only thing you need to know about the comics is that nobody can do magic, Spike has a space ship and an adoring crew of spacebugs. This takes place after Spike leaves San Francisco after telling Buffy he still loves her and he doesn’t want to be on the fringes of her life looking in anymore.
This won’t be finished today but I will try and finish for the Free for All days. Not beta’d yet.

I’m not sure what possessed me to write this particular story. Perhaps guilt over my many many Spike-gets-raped stories.
Spuffy. Early season six. Buffy and Spike are into the smoochies but not past that yet, and Giles didn’t leave after OMWF because why on earth would you have Giles leave if you can help it? :P
Oh, and Spike gets raped. Sorry. Spoiler or warning? I’m not sure. Warning for my noncon/bdsm fans: it’s not graphic. Again, sorry.

The King And She Part 1
It’s my posting day today and I bring a rather long fic with a terrible title (I can’t think of anything better).
This story started life in July on sb_fag_ends so the first 5000 words might be familiar to those of you who read it then. The rest I’ve made up as I’ve gone along in discrete 1000 word(ish) chunks. My evil twin has used this technique for writing stories many times, but it’s the first time I have.
It’s similar to the evil twin stories, though, in that it’s basically self-indulgent fannish wish fulfilment. Hope you enjoy it anyway.
Setting: Place-wise, London. Timewise, bit indeterminate, actually. The Fag Ends prompt the first five chapters were written for was What if Giles got in contact with Spike on Buffy’s behalf ten years on,but I got confused and forgot that ten years after Chosen is… well, now. So there are some things that might seem puzzling, like Buffy wearing shoes designed not by Jimmie Choo, but by his daughter Emily etc. Oh, just go with it.
ETA: Just to be clear, this story does not give the Buffy comics the time of day.
Pairing: Spike/Buffy (weirdly enough), mention of Buffy/Angel and some Spike/Angel prickly bromance-y type stuff. Also, Willow/Kennedy.
Rating: PG13/R (mostly for swear words).
