Title: Malkia Mpendwa Author/Creator: Apache Firecat Era/Season/Settings: Icons and puzzles come from all the seasons. The story is set post-cannon with a couple of slight, unimportant AU twists, but also reflects back on all previous seasons. Rating: Icons and puzzles range from G/K to PG-13/T. Fic is R/M and includes mentions of character deaths, a CANNON character death, and non-con. Spike/Buffy all the way throughout but there are nods to PAST Angel/Buffy in the story and a healthy helping of Angel/Cordelia. Also background Xander/Dawn.
Title:Dear Friend (3B/3B) Author: JustWriter2 Summary/Teaser: In a tale as old as inked parcels, Buffy writes to a normal penpal she falls for. Except, he’s not normal and she hates him; right? Era/Season/Setting: late 1990s, early 2000s / ~ Seasons 2 -> 5 / Sunnydale, California Warnings: some foul language Rating: PG
AN: Hey! Here’s the second part of the 3rd installment, and the final installment of the tale. I am relieved and glad to have finished a multi-chaptered fic for the first time! This banner was made by the wonderful teragramm. I welcome all constructive criticism from you. Fic: Dear Friend (1/3B) Fic: Dear Friend (2/3B) Fic: Dear Friend (3A/3B) Disclaimer: I do not have, nor have I ever been in, contact with any of the creators or producers of the television show Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, nor the films, plays, and radio broadcasts which this work is based upon: Parfumerie, The Shop Around the Corner, In the Good Old Summertime, She Loves Me, and You’ve Got Mail. Some of the lines from these and recognizable scenes and bits of shared dialogue will be played out and paraphrased, but only in tribute and not for anyone’s profit.

AN: Hi all! Here’s the 3rd installment, yet another year later, this time for Walk Through the Fire. This banner was made by the wonderful teragramm. Writing Spike’s angst at the beginning was what was holding me back from posting this Spring during Truth or Dare. I welcome all constructive criticism from you. Title: Something White banner Creator: Double Dutchess Era/season/setting: meerkat AU Rating: G Notes: this is a banner for “Something White“, the second story in thenewbuzwuzz‘s meerkat AU (Seasonal Spuffy Spring 2017).
(Yes, in this AU Buffy is a meerkat and Spike is a white cobra. Go read if you haven’t already!)
Image credits: Meerkat by Dario Brönnimann on Unsplash White snake by Kai Rösler (I’m afraid this is a copyrighted image, which I normally try to avoid, but this one was just too gorgeous and perfect not to use. Simply irresistible in its sinister attraction!)
Title: Buffy and Spike Do Easy Living Author: Jesterlady Era/season/setting: Probably best read as all human AU, set outside of canon. 1930s New York City. Rating: PG Summary: A Spuffy version of the 1937 screwball comedy, Easy Living, Buffy and Spike take the leading roles. Author’s Note: This will obviously make more sense if you’ve seen the movie, but the point is to enjoy the two of them having some banter and indulging in some classic tropes. Most of the dialogue is from the actual movie, doctored up to sound more like them. Though there’s no specific mention of vampires or Slayers I have tried very hard to make it impossible to say they couldn’t be their normal selves ie Spike is never seen outside in daytime, etc.
Title:Queen Buffy & Chief Will, the Bloody Author: JustWriter2 Rated: G Setting: Pre-England Author’s Note: This short story just kind of happened after watching Season 4 of The Crown. This tale is set in more ancient times than The Crown‘s modern historical fiction drama. I hope you all enjoy my short story; it has been good practice for another event coming up. Warnings: All Human AU, Spike/other, Buffy/other Disclaimer: I don’t own, nor, to my knowledge, am I affiliated with anyone remotely connected with the productions of Buffy, the Vampire Slayer or Angel, the Series. This fic is for fun and not for sale.
Title:Dear Friend (2/?) Author: JustWriter2 Summary/Teaser: In a tale as old as inked parcels, Buffy writes to a normal penpal she falls for. Except, he’s not normal and she hates him; right? Era/Season/Setting: late 1990s, early 2000s / ~ Seasons 2 -> 5 / Sunnydale, California Warnings: referenced Spike/other and Buffy/other to begin with (tamer than the show) AN: Hi all! Here’s the 2nd installment. I finally got the second chapter to where I wanted it! I welcome constructive criticism from all of you. This banner was made by the wonderful teragramm. Rating: PG (Warning: some foul language) Fic: Dear Friend (1/?) Some of the lines from these and recognizable scenes and bits of shared dialogue will be played out and paraphrased, but only in tribute and not for anyone’s profit. I also do not own an iota of William Shakespeare’s work, but am borrowing a quote from him presently.

Title: Grandma Got Run Over by Sleipnir [3/3] Author: Iamblichus Era/season/setting: Post-series, no comics Rating: NC-17 Summary: ‘Tis the season at the Slayer Academy, and the night is dark and full of terrors. Join Buffy, Spike, and the rest of the Scoobies for monsters, (mostly) chronologically-appropriate pop culture references, and just a bit of smut. Takes place about three months after the main events of Liebestod, but can be read as a standalone if you ignore the handful of references to preceding events and Spike being randomly human-ish.

A/N: The bit with the tree is a mini ode to another (spectacular!) holiday fic: OffYourBird’s “A Different Kind of Christmas”

Apparently, 21 June is National Sea Shell Day in the USA. I can’t tell you exactly how I got from there to Spike being a merman, but here he is. Buffy is there too, of course.
Summary: Willow enlists the help of the Scoobies for a big abundance ritual for Ostara. Meanwhile, Buffy is trying to push forward in her relationship with Spike. Featuring grass facts, a hell-bunny, and an original Wiccan ritual!
Title: We Will Drive Through the Fire Author: Rebcake Rating: PG13 Word count: 3450 Genre: Domestic holiday doings Summary: It’s Thanksgiving, so Buffy and Spike pack up the kids and head to Grandpa’s.
A/N: Although it’s not necessary to read the previous stories, this is the next installment in the Ring On It ‘Verse series. It began with a small wardrobe change on the morning of the final battle of the Hellmouth, and led to an un-sought-for transformation, namely that Spike has a heartbeat. AU from Chosen. The whole series can be found here on AO3. Previous seasonal_spuffy posts are With This Ring, Under My Skin Prologue, Under My Skin, and Anniversaries Aren’t For Quitters. More A/N: This is more unbeta’d than usual, so let me know if you notice anything weird. Might meander a bit. Also: based on this year’s California Fire Trauma.
Somewhere Ages and Ages Hence
By Barb C Pairing: Buffy/Spike, and Buffy and Spike Rating: G Summary: It’s not so much a dark mirror as a tie-in novel series that’s gone way off the rails. Notes: This story takes place in the same universe as A Raising In The Sun et al. It’s a many-years-later followup to In A Yellow Wood and is set a month or so prior to To Lie Down With Wolves. It also contains spoilers for Season 12 of the BtVS comics.
It’s been such a long time since I’ve been on LJ, let alone posting to Seasonal_Spuffy, so saying I’m nervous is an understatement. What I’m posting today is really just the beginning of a much bigger story that I’m still planning out. I apologise that there is not more to it at this point, but I have high hopes for it. It’s set in a world where Buffy didn’t send Angel into Acathla Hell. And that is all I can say…
Title: Buffy and the Bloodmobile Author: Rebcake Rating: PG13 Word count: 3000 Setting: During an alternate* S5, after the altercation with Glory in “Blood Ties”. Summary: Property damage has consequences. The continuing saga of Buffy’s adventures in community service.
AN: Unbeta’d, so please let me know if you see anything that’s wonky. Earlier parts of the story here: Chapter One Chapter Two Chapter Three

You can read all about it: On LJ / On AO3 / On BSV / On TSR / On EF
The Personal Touch
By Barb C Characters/Pairing: Buffy/Spike Rating: Teen Summary: It wasn’t the big dramatic confrontations that threw her for a loop, oh no. Buffy was prepared for those, and so was he. It was the little things that caught them both off-guard. Notes: Barbverse. This story takes place in the same universe as A Raising In the Sun,Necessary Evils, and A Parliament of Monsters. It’s set during the summer between Necessary Evils and POM. Written for the Seasonal Spuffy Summer Solstice Free-For-All day. This story is not exactly fluff, but then, it’s not exactly not fluff, either.
