Sonnet
A sonnet by Spike, circa S6

Warnings: Pretentious poetry and forced rhymes. Also, this decided to be neither an English sonnet nor an Italian sonnet, but the bastard love child of both…

Fic – Rest
My posting day. Hurray!
Okay, there’s a poem. ;)
Thanks to enigmatic_blue for the opportunity (see you at Writercon) and my beautiful beta cindergal.
A special thanks to the poetry of Christina Rossetti.
A (sort of) poem: “Every Night I Save You”
Thank you to enigmatic_blue for hosting the party!
Author’s notes:
Eep! I’m an hour late — sorry!
This is my first attempt at writing a rhyming poem, specifically a “sestina,” and it kicked my ass. A lot. For those who want to know:
The sestina is a pentameter poem consisting of six stanzas of six lines plus a three-line coda (know as the envoy or envoi). The sestina “rhymes” on six end-words, which must be repeated in each stanza in a controlled order, whereby the last end-word in each stanza becomes the first end-word of the next stanza: abcdef, faebdc, cfdabe, ecbfad, deacfb, bdfeca. The envoi must employ two of the end-words in each of its three lines.

Fic ~ A Touch of Paradise
It’s the 15th here in Australia, so it’s my posting day. I signed up to do art, but the muse decided to play nice, so I have a new fic first and then an art post to follow.

Fic: Meilleur Encore (1/1)
Against all odds, fic!
My offering this time was inspired by a comment moscow_watcher made on my story for the previous seasonal_spuffy round, La Meilleure Revanche. It starts out the same as that one, and then goes wildly AU. So if you start reading and think, “hey, I’ve read this before,” there’s a good reason for that. (I’ve included a second cut-tag to right before it starts to be different, and marked the spot thus: ***.)
It’s kind of like a Choose Your Own Adventure. Either story works on its own. If you prefer your angst unadulterated, you might want to stick to the original. If you don’t mind stepping out on the angst a bit, read on.
Thank you to enigmaticblues, and to rabid1st for her quick beta.
Fic: To Woo A Slayer
So, it’s my posting day and I come bearing a fic. It is fluffy and sappy and set in a sort of AU Season 6 where Tara and Willow no longer live in Buffy’s house and though Buffy and Spike have shared a few kisses, the dysfunctional sexual relationship hasn’t started. I may add a sequel which may or may not be ready for the free-for-all day. We’ll see, no promises though cuz RL has been amazingly busy these last few weeks.
Title: To Woo A Slayer

Disclaimer: I own nothing, but I love playing with Joss’ creations.

Season/Pairing: BtVS season 6/Spuffy

Where’s the Doctor? – Final Chapter
And that’s my day! Thank you!
Title: Where’s the Doctor?
Rating: PG at most
Pairing: Spike/Buffy
Summary: Some time ago, I wrote a short fic called Who’s the Doctor?. It was an AU version of “As You Were” that involved some characters from the recent seasons of Doctor Who. I’m having problems categorizing the current fic, because it’s a prequel from the Doctor’s point of view and a sequel from Buffy and Spike’s. As far as BTVS is concerned, it’s during or after an AU Season 6 where Spuffy is a happy reality and all the characters get along, more or less. In the Whoverse, it takes place during Tom Baker’s reign, when he was traveling with Leela.
Where’s the Doctor? – Chapter Eleven
A few hours to go, but I have looked on the wine when it is red (not to mention drinking it), so I better get the last two chapters up while I can still manage to get at least half the links right.
