Good evening, Spuffy fans! As always I’m squeaking in just under the wire…but before I go any further, a huge thank you to enigmaticblues for organizing this whole shindig. It’s a great way for us all to honour our favourite couple and it wouldn’t be possible without her dedication :)
So without further ado… the icons (a smaller batch then I had hoped for but I hope you enjoy nonetheless). First a preview:
For my last post I decided to do something slightly different.
The first banner (under the cut) is my Spuffy version of a classic movie poster
The second banner is my take on a classic china/dinner ware pattern, The Blue Willow plate.
The Blue Willow plate comes with its very own legend and the second banner is my interpretation of that legend, if the lovers were a blonde vampire and a slayer. ~_^
These banners are not sized for any specific reason, just so they can be viewed easily. If you would like them resized for any reason just let me know.
Enjoy
My third post is 3 friends only banners and matching icons. I will personalize any of the 3 icons in this post and as in the last post I will customize any header/banner according to your specifications (size coloring, wording and font.) Just ask, no reasonable request will be turned down.
Enjoy!
For my second post I have 3 lj headers and matching icons (under the cut). I will customize any header/banner according to your specifications (size coloring, wording and font.) Just ask, no reasonable request will be turned down.
Enjoy
Today is my posting day and before I start, I want to thank the lovely enigmaticblues for all of her hard work and effort in this community.
My first post is 20 icons (under the cut) Enjoy!!
1. 2.
3.
A sonnet by Spike, circa S6
Rating: G
Warnings: Pretentious poetry and forced rhymes. Also, this decided to be neither an English sonnet nor an Italian sonnet, but the bastard love child of both…
Title: Offerings
Author: Maia
Rating: G
Medium: Poetry
Words: 82
Thank you to enigmaticblues for hosting!
Title: This Town in the Rain
Author: Appomattoxco
Summary: A slice of time in happy AU where Spike/Buffy and Giles/Anya are established couples.
Rating: T Lots of innuendo but not much else.
Authors note: Giles’ opinion of US vs. UK weather comes from something an English tourist told me. When Stephen Fry said almost the same thing on a show, I thought I’d give the lines to Giles.
Rating: R-ish
Word Count: We ought to be counting syllables, but never mind
Summary: Just a few naughty limericks to meet the minimum “April is Poetry Month” requirement:
Title: With This Ring
Author: Rebcake
Rating: PG-13, for minor cussin’
Word Count: 4400
Summary: Seeking every possible advantage in the battle against the First, Buffy makes a minor wardrobe adjustment before heading into the Hellmouth. Will it make any difference?
Warnings: Ring!Fic
A/N: This is an old school “what if” fic. Dialog and action liberally stolen borrowed from the battle scene in Chosen. Spoilers up through Chosen and the first bit of Angel Season 5. Also, I maniped my own banner! Next, I’m going to make my own soap!
For my day, I made icons! So here are 48 Spuffy icons from Becoming, Lovers Walk, Harsh Light of Day, as well as a few misc ones.
This is my final submission – The GREAT Billie Holiday is the perfect Poet In Song for Spike and Buffy. This is one of my favorite Singers and Songs of all and I think is a wonderful connection of music and Spuffy – Please take some time to watch – I think you will like the results. Wish you could see it at my high res original but the file is just too large. Thank Goodness for YouTube –

This is one of my own humble attempts to write a poem about Spike and Buffy –
I love this poet and find that many of his works are a wonderful connection to the Spuffy relationship and especially to Spike’s love for Buffy.
Sorry for the late posting – no access to my computer all day – hope that you enjoy my images and the great poets for my entries –
Big “THNKS” for keeping this great Spuffy event for all the Spuffy Lovers to enjoy and thanks much for letting me be a part of all the Spuffy Love –
To round off my day of contributions, a fic based round writing a poem. It’s not Shakespeare, but I hope it’s a step up from Dawn’s limerick…
