Thanks for adding this additional Free Day – this was another fabulous Seasonal Spuffy.   Have a couple of banners – Hope you like them.

I send my Holiday Season’s Greetings to all the Spuffy Fans – even if we don’t have Peace, Good Will and Respect for All  now on planet Earth – we can always keep up our HOPE that someday this seemingly “Impossible Dream” will become reality.

I’ve managed to keep my Spuffy Hopes and Love ongoing all these years –

Fic: Displacement (3/?) PG13

Title: Displacement, Chapter Three
Author: spuffy luvr
Rating: PG13 (for now)
Setting: Post-Series crossover with “S.H.I.E.L.D”
Word Count: ~2300/~30,000
Summary: Spike’s amulet is left to languish at the bottom of the Sunnydale crater, until a S.H.I.E.L.D. team accidentally uncovers it ten years later.

Warnings:  Spoilers through mid-S2 of “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”,  as well as the Marvel Cinematic Universe.  I suspect knowledge of “S.H.I.E.L.D.” will make the story, or at least the initial chapters, far more enjoyable.  Temporary Buffy/Other, sort of.

Fic: Closure Is A Silly Word, pt 2 of 2

Angel had said that the lobby in the Chelsea Hotel was something to see. Dawn wondered, as she walked up Sixth Avenue,  passing the old department store buildings that housed TJ Maxx and Bed Bath & Beyond—so normal, nice and normal—what that was going to turn out to be. A hotel where vampires were habitués.

Fic: Closure Is A Silly Word, pt 1

I’m delighted that two things happened to make this story possible: The mods here added a posting day at the end. And a reader on A03 left a comment on another fic of mine, Not Dead, which made me realize there was sequel potential there. So, herewith, a sequel to Not Dead.

A third thing that happened to make this story possible is that rebcake did an excellent beta, which improved this hastily-written tale no end.

I recommend reading or rereading Not Dead first, but if you don’t, the basic premise is that it’s been five years since Buffy’s been missing presumed dead. Except Dawn knows she isn’t missing presumed dead. Her sister is a vampire, and she’s with Spike.

If You Need a Job Done Right, Send a Slayer 5

This entry is part 5 of 5 in the series When You Need a Job Done Right, Send a Slayer

The last two chapters – These may or may not be how they look by the time I put it up elsewhere, but they are where I am right now. There were a few places I felt like it could have ended. This is not one of them. LOL But it will do for now. I suppose I should resolve things with Angel, I hate to leave him alone, but that would require more time than I have today. Let’s just assume he makes friends with Anteres or something…

Thanks again to Abelina whose extra eyes kept me from making any plot dimples into actual holes. :) Obviously, I’ve tweaked after she saw things, so….

(Chapter Eight is what earned it the strong R rating – FYI)

Rating: PG-13
Summary: Buffy’s talk with Glory’s dying monk has surprising revelations.

Fic: A Parliament of Monsters, Chapter 13, Part 1

Hi All! I had hoped to have the entire chapter to post today, but I’ve been revising this right down to the wire, and the last few scenes are not quite ready for prime time yet. And the first half is where all the Spuffy action is anyway.

My thanks to my incredible beta readers, typographer, slaymesoftly, the_moonmoth, feliciacraft, and ApprenticeBard — there will be a couple more names on this list when the final version goes up, and I could not have done it without any of them. Any remaining infelicities of prose are entirely my own. With no further ado…

Previously in A Parliament of Monsters:

It’s been a year since Buffy and Spike closed the Hellmouth, but life hasn’t gotten any less exciting for Our Heroes as they try to take down a duo of vampire gang bosses. Kennedy arrives on a secret mission from the Watcher’s Council, just as Tara and Willow, who’s now a vampire with a soul, are having relationship problems. Riley Finn is back in town, looking for formerly-chipped demons, one of whom is now one of Spike’s minions. And the news from Los Angeles just keeps getting worse: Angel’s lost his soul again. Or has he? When Robin Wood, on his way to deliver a mysterious artifact to Buffy, turns up murdered, Spike’s the logical suspect, at least to Riley. But nothing is as it seems, and the now-missing Slayer artifact is only one piece in a larger and more dangerous puzzle than Buffy knows…

Fic: ‘The Page of Wands’ by Quinara (PG-13) [1/5]

This entry is part 1 of 5 in the series The Page of Wands

Hello Seasonal Spuffy!!! So excited to be back for the tenth year of Spuffiness; thanks to all the mods who’ve been keeping this place going. I have been more than remiss with everything that’s been posted so far – hoping to remedy that ASAP.

My offering for today is a new completed fic, which is about 11,000 words in total and spread across five short chapters. I had many grander plans, but it was suggested to me around the time I was stressing out about having nothing that it would be sensible to do something straightforward. What this meant was finding one of the beginnings in my WIP folder and winging the rest of the story, which has resulted in something fairly indulgent of my fic predilections. Which is surely in theme with all of the random shite I have presented to this community over the years!

So, where does this story come from? Well, fans of the comics may remember that a few months(?) ago, there was an issue previewed and then released about Buffy going inside Spike’s head. I don’t actually read the comics, but I love all of that stuff, so I was intrigued. Of course, it seems as though the comic writers and I disagree about how that sort of storyline should play out, so I was inspired to do my own version. As a story actually about the plotline of the comics, this thing pretty much stalled, so what I’ve done instead is really a riff on the basic premise of that issue. It’s a story that could be set in a much more generic futureverse, but hopefully it also fits within the comics canon, for people who would like it to! There are kittens. Also tarot…

Fic: Dancing at la Bibliothèque (1/1)

Happy 10th Anniversary, Seasonal Spuffy!!! And a very sincere thank you to everyone who keeps this community going!

I have one entry for today. Please, enjoy!

* * *

Title: Dancing at la Bibliothèque

Author: PrettyPoppy

Summary: In yet another desperate attempt to pay the bills, Buffy gets a job at the Sunnydale Public Library. When Spike shows up with a stolen library card, expecting to be serviced, Buffy tries to turn him away, but Spike won’t take no for an answer. Season 6. Set between “Gone” and “Doublemeat Palace.”

Rating: R

Author’s Notes: I very much wanted to write something for the theme this round, but the story I intended to write would have been multi-chaptered and I knew I wouldn’t have time to finish it. Instead, I decided to finish a little ficlet that I started over ten years ago. It’s nice to finally be able to share it.

Disclaimer: Nope. I don’t own Spike or Buffy. Everything belongs to Joss, Mutant Enemy, and whoever else has a legal right to it.
