It’s my day to share and in the spirit of the community I’ve written a story about Buffy and Spike falling into a world controlled by a poem.
Thanks to enigmaticblues for taking the time from her busy, busy life to steer our little boat through the rapids.

A/N: Thank you to EnigmaticBlues for the beta work. Although this is my own bizarre version of Wonderland, some quotes and characters are courtesy of Alice in Wonderland and Jabberwocky, both written by the very gifted Lewis Carroll. Chapter titles courtesy of the song White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane. Mr. Carroll-please don’t spin, it was merely for fun.
Disclosure: None of these characters are mine, nor will I make money from them. They belong solely to the imaginative pens of Joss Whedon and Lewis Carroll– I just wanted to watch Buffy and Spike wrest information from a Dormouse.
Rating: G – 22,500 words complete
For my fic today, I was inspired to go back to something I did for Seasonal Spuffy a few cycles ago. This fic is based on my story Ouroboros. It’s not necessary to read that one first – suffice it to say that Buffy and Spike – still Slayer and Vampire – are together in a post-series future, and they are expecting a baby. I wanted to do a further series of vignettes dealing with Buffy’s pregnancy. All three are collected here.
Title: Three Nights Spent in Bed
Author: st_salieri
Rating: R
Setting: Post-series, in the same setting as Ouroboros.
Thank you, enigmaticblues! I’m so grateful to be able to participate. I hope you all enjoy it. Continue Reading
Well, it’s my turn to play in enigmatic_blue‘s back yard. I’ve just squeaked in in SOMEBODY’s time zone, because it sure isn’t mine! But I’m delighted to be here and many thanks to the wonderful enigmatic_blue for running this community and for letting us play. Now, my muse has been absent for ages, so this is particularly fitting to the poetry theme and losing your muse. This fic is complete in four chapters, but as I’ve only just finished and sent it to be looked over, I’m posting the first chapter unbeta’d and will correct any problems when the chapter is returned. Sorry – my ability to organise time has completely deserted me lately. Anyhoo, here it is – ALWAYS MY MUSE.
AUTHOR: spikesdeb
TITLE: Always My Muse
RATING: NC17
CHAPTER: 1/4
SETTING: erm… not sure, after Pangs and Something Blue…maybe long after. Definitely after Spike started showing up and helping. Maybe even an alternative universe, who knows?
UNBETA’D at this stage; please bear with me and let me know if there are any glaring errors. I’ll add the remaining chapters once I’ve had them back in a lucid form rather than my ramblings. Hope you enjoy!
One last tip of the hat to this round’s theme. Thank you for reading!
Started with a fake,
ended up with something real.
‘S poetic, that.

that only the dead love her?
Is something missing?
