No knowledge of the comics is needed to read this fic. The action will move from Cleveland to Spain to Gibraltar. Buffy does talk about Satsu and her sexuality, though there are no flashbacks, and hopefully I’ve altered that in a way that makes their relationship and Willow’s friendship with Buffy during that time far more believable and respectful than the comics did.
