Getting ready for Seasonal Spuffy this year was a test as I’m still having significant back problems and have been on the computer almost not at all for a number of months. (It’s a whole new world!! And I miss the old one.) :-)

I was able to complete some manips, but was unable to do much with the finished products My apologies and I hope you enjoy them as they stand.

In other news, I did buy tickets for WriterCon 09, have reserved a room and have looked over the list of others who are definitely attending. I’d love to know who else is thinking of joining the fun.

Thanks to enigmaticblues  for continuing this comm. I haven’t had a chance to dip into the stories and other posts yet, but I’ve been enjoying the push my deadline has given me to jump back into my fandom. I’m hoping to spend a lot of time here this winter.

Summary: Some time ago, I wrote a short fic called Who’s the Doctor?. It was an AU version of “As You Were” that involved some characters from the recent seasons of Doctor Who. I’m having problems categorizing the current fic, because it’s a prequel from the Doctor’s point of view and a sequel from Buffy and Spike’s. As far as BTVS is concerned, it’s during or after an AU Season 6 where Spuffy is a happy reality and all the characters get along, more or less. In the Whoverse, it takes place during Tom Baker’s reign, when he was traveling with Leela.

Me again! Thanks so much for everyone’s comments so far – as you might be able to tell by the time stamp it’s been a bit touch and go getting this other fic ready under the deadline, which is why I haven’t replied yet. Hopefully you’ll like this one too. :)

Summary: When Spike goes missing Buffy is forced to remember things she’d rather have left forgotten.
Author’s Notes: This takes place quite a way in the future, in the same universe as another fic I wrote,What a Way to Make a Living (there may be a title-theme of early 80s cheese…). But to understand this fic, all you should need to know is that Buffy works in a school by day while Spike and Illyria fight crime, buddy-cop style, by night. There’s again a bit of comics influence, but really not very much. Insane levels of thanks to bogwitch for doing me a beta – it should now be pretty unrecognisable from when she first saw it. :P Yet more thanks for enigmaticblues, because I swear seasonal_spuffy brings out the best in me.
