Hi there. Sick of me yet? Hope not. I’ve got another post after this one. I went a little crazy with my contributions, in the fact that I made lots of stuff.
Anyway, now I would like to share with you the lost art of the Spuffy haiku. It is difficult to portray such passion and love and hate in a mere 17 syllables, but it can be done if you try.
Seven Spuffy Haikus
Hiding in shadow
Where her warmth cannot touch him
He watches; waiting
The Mournful Haiku (Spike, The Gift)
She lay in sunlight
Golden hair and slender limbs
Like he’d imagined
The Jealous Haiku (Buffy, during Hell’s Bells)
Skanky little tramp
Just what does he see in her?
I’m way prettier
The Lonely Haiku (Buffy, post Grave)
Lost in loneliness
Only he’d been there for her
And now he was gone
The Lusty Haiku (Buffy, season five)
Radioactive
Leather, cigarettes, bourbon
Say, do vampires sweat?
The Dirty Haiku (Spuffy, season six)
She falls to her knees
He grabs the back of her head
And the games begin
The Tormented Haiku (Spike, season seven)
Screams make it lighter
Anger can lessen the guilt
But her love burns him
I think I’m most proud of the fact that I wrote a dirty haiku. Oh yes, that’s the stuff.
