Whispers in a Dead Man’s Ear (8/8 – Pending until 12/4)

I was hoping that I wouldn’t have to do this, but my brainwaves are pretty much at an absolute standstill and part 8 needs a little more fully-cognizant love before it’s ready to be seen. More than anything, I want to do the rest of the story justice and ensure that I give Spike and Buffy the ending I think their journey here has earned them; to that end, I’m going to work on part 8 over the weekend and will have it in presentable condition in my journal on my Sunday evening (I’m on Eastern Standard Time). Additionally, I’ll edit part 7’s post at that point to include the link to part 8. My sincerest apologies for the delay.

Thanks to everyone for your wonderful comments and your support today–you’ve made my day a very, very joyful one, and I’m looking forward to answering your comments and to catching up on the entries I’ve missed as I’ve prepared Whispers. I hope to see you all at my journal on Sunday night for part 8.
